Ms. McGovern is an accomplished flutist with a growing flowing. Her meditative flute music is captivating and the imagery in her videos is breathtaking. She has performed with a number of symphony’s and orchestras as a soloist. For example, Michele was invited to Russia in 2001 to record with the Saint Petersburg Camerata in St. Petersburg, Russia as a soloist. Her career included a 12 year partnership arranging and composing music with Melody Lord, including 6 arrangements for flute and piano of the famous opera Carmen, which they both performed at New York City's Carnegie Hall in the Weil recital hall.

Today, Ms. McGovern’s career is continuing to blossom with the introduction of meditative flute music and crossover classical music among her fortes. She recently performed on the east coast television show, Live From Center Stage in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. The performance was broadcast to over 80,000 viewers and is now available on her YouTube channel. In addition to performing with The Nutcracker Ballet and the Chicago Sinfonietta, she was also the Principle Flute with the Lincolnwood Chamber Orchestra for over 15 years.
